The Insightful Leader Live: Designing Your Post-Corporate Life

Building the next stage of life after your primary career is a daunting transition, even for successful executives, professionals, and business owners. It takes intentionality and advance planning. Join Tom O’Toole, a clinical professor of marketing at Kellogg, former Associate Dean of Executive Programs, and C-suite executive before he came to Kellogg, for a candid discussion of how to design and create your “portfolio life.” O’Toole will cover how to determine which activities—boards, teaching, consulting, and other pursuits—best fit your own purpose, offer practical insights into building your portfolio life plan, and explain why your healthspan is foundational. This webinar previews a new Kellogg Executive Education program on designing your post-corporate life.

Tom O’Toole is a Clinical Professor of Marketing at the Kellogg School of Management. Previously, he was Associate Dean of Executive Programs, and Executive Director of the Executive Fellows Program, at Kellogg. O’Toole is a Senior Advisor to McKinsey & Company. He serves on the board of Alliant Energy and has been a director of multiple other public and private companies. O’Toole was Chief Marketing Officer of United Airlines and President, MileagePlus, and Chief Marketing Officer and Chief Information Officer of Hyatt Hotels Corporation.
